Since fashion colors are temporary even the best hairdresser will caution you that they will fade from the very first shampoo. Fashion colors are more vibrant on lighter shades of hair. To maintain your fashion color longer; wash your hair in very cold water, use sulfate free shampoo and wash your hair less. Also avoid very direct sunlight. If you are going to go into a swimming pool make sure to apply a deep conditioner to wet hair before going in. I personally use a swimming/shower cap.
